Americas Best Value Inn Historic Clewiston Inn

The check-in was fast and the people were friendly. The room was clean and had been updated. This is an historic building which means it is old but in good shape. The AC worked. We had hot water. The mattress was the right amount of firm for me. And it was quiet. A good experience. I would stay here again.

It's an older hotel but gets the most important things right! Clean, comfortable bed and great shower. It's also old enough to have character and be really interesting! We would definitely stay here again.

I would give it a 3.5. The staff was decent, the exterior is great,room were clean, but the bathroom door was broken and of the wrong size. The breakfast was a joke. The worst ever. The wifi was so slow that it was useless.

As another reviewer stated: simple rooms in a classic old hotel. A desk would have been nice, but I made due using the night stand. Just be aware as this is an old structure the ducting reverberates and sounds carry, especially upstairs to downstairs. Earplugs helped a ton

I have stayed at this hotel several times while working in Moore Haven. The rooms are ok, not exactly a 5 Star Hotel but it is decent place to stay, breakfast is not overwhelming. Plain simple rooms bed, bathroom, tv, small refrigerator, microwave. Very quiet, old school charm. No issues with staff, in fact staff is very helpful snd accommodating.

Stayed at the Historic Clewiston Inn on Thanksgiving Night. It's a quaint, rustic inn, convenient to shopping, dining, Lake Okeechobee and within about an hour from the east and west coats of Florida. There is a nice park directly across the street that had a extremely large, beautiful Christmas lights display that was free to the public. Inside was decorated nicely for the holiday and the staff was friendly. There is a restaurant and pub onsite as well as laundry facilities. It's not super modern, but it's a "historic" Inn so keep that in mind. Was a pretty good value for the price overall!

Stay here every time I'm in the area. Beautiful, historic hotel, with friendly staff. Much more character and personality than the cookie cutter hotels down the road. Slightly smaller rooms, but all clean and well kept up. Very much would recommend

Truly a Historic gem. I was impressed by how well the furniture and photos were preserved. This place was centrally located in a beautiful historic area of the city. There is also a courtyard and a little garden in the back. I quickly made friends with the Grey tabby that lives there. You have to see it for yourself.
